Building Affordable Housing Together in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties —
workshop for faith communities and local governments
California’s SB4 creates new opportunities for faith-based institutions to develop affordable housing on their land, but many religious organizations and local jurisdictions need support to navigate the process. You are invited to a regional convening on Wednesday, October 8, where religious institutions will learn about development, cities will gain insight into effectively working with faith-based organizations, and both groups will come together to discuss development opportunities. The goal of these convenings is for jurisdiction staff and faith-based institutions to begin the collaborative process and learn about the challenges and opportunities experienced by both groups.
