Join us outside of the federal courthouse to tell DHS: ICE Out of Gilroy and ICE Out of Everywhere!

This Tuesday there is a critical court hearing re: ICE facility in Gilroy. Santa Clara County and state leaders are gearing up for legal battle to block a planned ICE facility in South County. California Attorney General Rob Bonta and county officials filed a lawsuit arguing that the federal government has illegally bypassed environmental laws, local zoning rules and other statutes in advancing the a project for an ICE facility just east of Gilroy. A hearing to consider plaintiff’s preliminary injunction seeking an immediate halt to construction work is set for Sept. 8 at San Jose’s federal courthouse.

The ICE Out of Gilroy coalition is holding a public press conference and rally outside of the courthouse on the day of the hearing. Join us to call for a stop to ICE expansion in our area, and everywhere!
