From Mahatma Gandhi’s well-known campaigns against the British Empire to the lesser known nonviolent campaign for US Independence in 1765-1776, this webinar will look at how boycotts, tax resistance, civil disobedience, constructive programs, parallel governments, and alternative institutions helped two countries win independence. With plenty of time for questions, this program will invite us to consider the strategic insights from these two examples and how we can apply them to today’s challenges.
