Description: In solidarity with the historic NYC protest called by 350.org, these rallies are 2 days before the UN Climate Summit of world leaders. This will be a family friendly event just a few blocks from Lake Merritt BART station.

We want to show the world that the climate crisis can no longer be ignored, that the planet earth is burning, that massive & unprecedented measures must be taken now to assure humanity’s future.

While people all over the country are mobilizing for New York,
many of us will gather in support in Oakland.
• For a world with an economy that works for people and the planet
• For a world safe from the ravages of climate change
• For a world with good jobs, clean air and water, and healthy communities.
