Interfaith Peace Ad - Sign on with us!!

In the midst of winter holy days,
Bay Area people of faith invite you to join us as we
Work and Pray for Peace
(followed by "peace" in several different languages)
and
Call for an End to the War in Iraq

We invite you, your congregation or organization or community, and/or groups within your congregation to sign this INTERFAITH PEACE AD (see the wording above). The ad will include a list of individual and group sponsors. We will run it in the San Jose Mercury News and Palo Alto Weekly -- and it won't be complete without you!

Individual are asked to donate $20-50 for their names to be listed. Organizations and congregations are asked to donate $50-$200 for their names and websites to be included. ALL the money will be used to run the ad as widely as possible.

TO ADD A NAME, please email multifaithpeace@aol.com with the name exactly as you want it (and website, if signing as an organization/congregation), and then please make out your CHECKS to "First Presbyterian Church/MVPJ" indicating "Peace Ad" on it - and mail it to First Presbyterian Church, 1140 Cowper Street, Palo Alto, CA 94301.

Faith based organizations who have already confirmed their sponsorship include Multifaith Voices for Peace & Justice, American Muslim Voice, Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) of the Bay Area, Buddhist Peace Fellowship - West Bay Chapter, California Council of Churches, Pax Christi at Stanford, and the Council of Churches of Santa Clara County.

Deadline to add a name is Monday, December 17th.
